In order to have WordPress installed for free, you will need your very own domain name (www.YourName.com) and you will also need web hosting. We use a company called HostGator.com to provide both of these services. I have partnered up with HostGator.com to provide you with a free WordPress or Joomla CMS installation service. All that is required from you is to set up an account with HostGator.com. You will need to order a domain name — or use an existing one — and sign up for their basic web hosting service.
Once you have your account set up — which we will help you set up — we will then install, configure and set up WordPress or Joomla on your HostGator.com account at no charge.
Free Blog/Website (CMS) Setup Service – 3 Step Process
1. Join Webhosting Service: Most web hosting plans are powerful enough to run WordPress sites. There are 3 web hosting companies that we recommend. HostGator.com, BlueHost and Fatcow. Choose if you want to register a new domain name, or if you will be using an existing domain name.
2. Create an account with HostGator.com and sign up for their Linux web hosting service.
3. Choose your web hosting package type. Your choices are Hatchling, Baby and Business. I recommend Baby. The Hatchling Plan has a set up fee and the Business is more than what you need.
4. Email the webhosting information: Once you have signed up for webhosting, please send us an email to amaete@amaeteumanah.com. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the webhosting information. Make sure to let us know which plugins or themes you want us to install. We can help you install any plugins/themes you want.
5. Wait for us to setup the Blog: Once you have sent us the email all you need to do is wait for our reply. Usually it takes us 12-24 hours to help setup the blog for you. If you still need any help, please send us another email. We will try to help you as best we can. Free of course!
